I have ony found " drip candles " at Candlestock in
Woodstock , NY , but you can really use any taper candle that drips a lot .I
was inspired to create my own candle drip bottle over 10 years ago on a visit
to Candlestock , where they have a Drip Candle Mountain that Began with just a
wine bottle , and has burning for nearly 40 years .It's huge and awe inspiring
.They have added little trinkets and toys in the wax , as well as some of the
wax molded into little " slides . " It really is a sight to see .If

# 1 Add weight or a base to your bottle .( Optional )I have never done this
before , but Decided to try it now . I think it would help keep the bottle from
moving around too much and letting the wax hardened crack . I'm doing both of
these , because i think adding the weight ( a bunch of pebbles ) will make the
bottle look more interesting before it's completley covered in wax ; but you
only have to do one , or none !
Step # 2 Add protection .
